Adlam is a unique alphabetic script invented by brothers Ibrahima and Abdoulaye Barry in Guinea in the late 1980s. Its name comes from the initial letters of the script’s native name, Alkule Dandayɗe Leñol Mulugol. Adlam has been widely adopted for education, publishing, and digital communication among Fulani speakers, helping to preserve and promote their language and culture.
